Well my dear, meditation has nothing to do with music or no music , lying down or standing , sleeping or not sleeping .


Firstly, please understand that you may listen to nice music but still not be meditative...or may not listen to any music and still be absolutely meditative.


You may be in silence so to speak and still not be meditative and u may be talking and still be absolutely meditative.


You may not sleep but that doesn’t mean u are in meditation and u may sleep and still be totally meditative.

Now this is a fundamental problem that every seeker faces.............
"what is meditation" and u have all these so called camp leaders who go on telling u all kinds of nonsense.

Coming to your point, to sleep after listening to music or discourse or when sitting  in  silence is absolutely perfect.

Meditation is a technique to reach the truth , to experience the truth ..to become the truth........and see the game that’s going on and how u r out of it already.....

And the first condition to that is .....to be relaxed ,to be in a state of no control
And sleep is the easiest when it comes to losing control...to get away from mind........


So don’t worry , don’t even think whether it will be meditation or not or else you will end up forcing yourself like some people who are just forcing themselves to sit n sit and have frowns on their forehead...........


No ...there is no need to force...it would be absolutely non meditative or anti meditative....if u force yourself in anything...


Learn to relax..if sleep happens... good, if it doesn’t..very good
And slowly u will begin to experience gaps........a state of presence...no mind...though for a few seconds........

But the main point is "never make anything a problem.........”
if u r feeling in a let go and relaxed after anything ...u r on the right way..........have my word for it......)))))))))"
